We welcome our first 10,000 Intern for summer 2024

This week we welcomed our first 10,000 Intern for the summer. Keneilwe Mosweunyane tells a little about herself and why she chose LPPI for the internship.

What made you choose LPPI for an internship?

I really enjoyed being able to come into the office for my second interview and meet with the CEO, Chris Rule, and Chief People and Culture Officer, Lorraine Taylor. They both explained LPPI's compelling purpose and the business goals, and that the culture was at the centre of this. That messaging came across clearly.

What are the three things you would like to learn most during your internship?

I am very interested in investment management as a career, and from the conversations I had during the interview process I knew I would learn a lot during my time at LPPI. The fact that the internship offered rotations meant the exposure would be diverse.

I have always had an interest in economics and how money makes it back into the economy. I would like to learn about pensions and long-term growth, and as part of this learn about what considerations are made when looking at investments and making a decision.

Tell us a bit about you.

I enjoy ice skating. It's been a passion of mine even though finding the time for this gets harder now. So I love the gym too!

I also have a passion for reading and writing, especially fictional books. I'm currently reading a Greek mythology fiction story.
